The Foundation

In 2015, the United Nations committed to 17 sustainable development goals. These goals can only be achieved if individuals and civil society make their dedicated contribution.

In this sense, we have the Christian C.D. Ludwig – Foundation founded. As an independent funding agency, the ccdl–foundation supports private individuals, businesses and organizations to make visible and lasting contributions to sustainability, a dialogue of nations / peoples based on tolerance and mutual respect and a more social, equitable world.

We want to promote initiatives or individuals, such as scientists, researchers and artists, who dedicate themselves to the common good, civic engagement and sustainable global development of our society and our environment.

We believe in the power of education and the cultivation of culture; and we want to help reduce prejudices. That is why we support initiatives and ideas that serve integration, dialogue and peace work.

We give help for self-help. We support people and organizations ideel, financially, practically and materially, when they need help. Our commitment is charitable.

The ccdl–foundation works together with competent partners, so that they can realize their foundation goal effectively, innovatively and qualitatively.

We see ourselves as part of a network of charitable organizations in Germany and abroad. Therefore we can and want to promote worldwide.
